Let Potters Place host your next birthday party, club activity, or help your scout troop meet their pottery or art badge requirements.

We provide all the necessary clay, tools and glazes  to create two hand-made pieces of pottery… you bring the friends and food!

This fun hands-on party lasts approximately two hours. After a brief tour of our studio, you spend the first hour getting your hands into the clay and creating TWO projects.   You’ll learn the basics of pottery, such as slab rolling and how to make a pinch pot.  We have lots of texturizing tools and stamps to help you personalize and decorate your pieces.  While your pieces are air-drying on a kiln top, you can enjoy your food and goodies.  During the last 45 minutes, it’s time to glaze your pieces.  A variety of glaze colors can be brushed on to complete the final decorations to your clay projects.

You will leave your pieces to be clear-coated and fired (baked in our kilns) so they will have a hard, durable finish.   Pieces will be ready for pick up in approximately 3 weeks.
